By moving the focus to percussion, baroque dances and concertos are put in a new perspective and we rediscover this music.
The French solo-percussionist Joël Grare has been a guest of Holland Baroque before and enchanted the audience and his fellow musicians with his improvising and moving playing.
The young Dutch percussionist Niek Kleinjan, finalist of the prestigious Dutch Classical Talent Award, is currently working on the Dutch Canon for solo-percussion.
