Enthralled by Louis the 15th’s Paris, fascinated by Jean- Baptiste Lully’s music, and inspired by Theun de Vries’ literary classic Baron, Holland Baroque presents a spectacular orchestral programme.
Michel Baron, lone wolf and a divinely beautiful boy, meets Molière at the age of 13. The French dramatist and star actor becomes his role model and father figure. And while Baron grows up, Molière grows old.
French flautist Alexis Kossenko is a virtuoso poet; a reason for Holland Baroque to invite him once again for a glorious Molière et Moi in collaboration with actors Maartje van de Wetering and Erik van der Horst.
