Director Cherry Duyns follows Reinbert de Leeuw from the first days of rehearsals with the Holland Baroque orchestra, the Netherlands Chamber Choir and soloists Joanne Lunn (soprano), Delphine Galou (alto), Christopher Watson (tenor), Tomáš Král (bass), Andreas Wolf (Christ) and Benedikt Kristjánsson (evangelist) to the moving performance in Amsterdam’s Nieuwe Kerk. A film about the mystery of music, its enchantment and the special interaction between Reinbert de Leeuw and younger generations of musicians.
