At the end of 2019, Daniël Lohues and Holland Baroque toured the theaters of the Netherlands. In addition to music from the 18th century, they also played songs from Lohues’ repertoire. Tineke and Judith Steenbrink, the driving forces behind Holland Baroque, arranged these.

Daniël also wrote a number of new songs for this performance, including ‘Half April’. Recordings of it have since been shelved, among many other unreleased songs and the recordings of his theater performances. The song has been released on Lohues’ own record label, Ericana Recordings, and can be heard here, as well as via Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services.
