At the invitation of the Erasmus House, Holland Baroque will play three concerts on Java and Sumatra.
The Erasmus House, part of the Dutch Embassy in Jakarta, is the cultural face of the Netherlands abroad and an important booster of cultural exchange. So it is no coincidence that Holland Baroque has been invited. The concerts will feature the finest baroque repertoire, interspersed with surprising encounters with Indonesian music and musicians. A musical dialogue!
Besides the performances, the musicians of Holland Baroque give workshops to students of conservatoires. Moreover, these young talents play along during the concerts themselves and thus get a stage.
The exact dates and locations of the concerts will be announced soon.
