Clara van Meyel, the new managing director, expressed, “Holland Baroque is an internationally operating ensemble based in Utrecht. I have come to know the ensemble as ambitious, creative, and innovative. The various collaborations with soloists and ensembles have introduced me to new sonic worlds. I am also drawn to their commitment to music for the youngest generation and the support of young talent. Over the past years, our projects have continuously inspired me, and I will tirelessly work towards a bright future for the orchestra and its musicians.”
Tineke and Judith Steenbrink shared their enthusiasm, stating, “We are extremely pleased that Clara van Meyel will be taking on the challenges of our adventurous orchestra.
